Due around June/July 2011
If you want to emulate Bob Hoover, the famous US demonstration/test pilot, you will need a good model of the famous twin-engine Commander to do it with! The Black Horse Commander offers the same 'swooping' lines that the real Commander is famous for and most of the flying characteristics too. Ok, there's not quite the mass and inertia to do his famous engine off routine but with a lot less wing loading, the risk of low speed stalling is much lower too. That's one of the advantages of careful design and lightweight, CAD /laser cut parts. The fixed, tricycle undercarriage is sturdy and well suited to UK flying fields. That high wing provides great lift and stability, as well as docile stalling characteristics, and makes the Black Horse Commander an ideal first twin.
