A modern charger for the modern modeller, that's the C-403!!

This is a charger designed for Lithium based batteries only, but copes with Li-Ion, Li-Po and Li-Fe technologies with a regime specific for each. The built in balancer can work on 2, 3 or 4 cell packs that have a cell voltage variation other chargers might not like. It will also charge single cells. The charge current can be varied from 0.1A to 3.5A in 0.01A increments using the large LCD display screen. Those small increments are particularly useful for the latest generation of indoor models with small Li-Po packs. At the other end of the scale, you can also charge a 4S pack at 3A or a 2S pack at 4.75A and still stay inside the 40W circuit limit. That kind of range puts the C-403 into the car, boat and aircraft markets for the majority of sports modellers! An excellent choice for foam RTFs for instance.

The LCD screen displays Charge current (Amps), battery Voltage (Volts), the capacity charged (MilliAmpHours- mAh) and the elapsed time since the charge started (Mins/Secs). The red LEDs indicate that the balancer is working. Also shown on the LCD screen is the type of battery being charged, whereas the number of cells in the pack is auto-detected.

The tough, aluminium case has that air of quality but with real strength. The side balance port accepts XH and EH plugs and a balance board/lead is also provided for TP plugs. Optional boards for PQ is available.
